Bracken Bank Stores Ltd has been trading since 1981 from our business in Keighley, West Yorkshire. We have been trading on the Internet since 1999 and have recently upgraded our service to allow on-line ordering. If you would prefer to contact us directly then e-mail or call our office.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. Place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, and snail mail or over the Internet.

Alternatively you may pay by cheque in UK currency.

Made payable to BRACKEN BANK STORES LTD. Fill out your online order and select this method. Your goods will be sent upon clearance of your cheque.

If you can not find the item you require please contact our office at sales@brackenbankstores.co.uk and we will be glad to try and locate your required item. We are a small family firm who offers you a personal service, so give us a call if you have any urgent questions! Office hours 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday.

You may cancel your order at any time. Please make ever effort to inform our office of your cancellation ASAP to ensure your goods are not shipped to you as we aim to ship goods within two days of your order being placed.

Shipping And Handling We currently do not charge for packaging as we recycle the packaging we receive from our suppliers, to reduce costs and help the environment. Our postal carriers are Parcelforce & APC who provide our company with a discount on overseas postal costs; this is in turn passed to you the customer.

Most overseas deliveries take approximately 3 to 5 days from leaving our office, if you require a more precise delivery time please e-mail me with your query and I will be glad to answer any questions you have.

A member of our staff may deliver large orders for delivery within the UK in person; this will guarantee delivery on time and in tact to your specified requirements.

Most standard UK deliveries will arrive in 2 days but express deliveries may be requested. If your goods are required for a specific date, please specify this when ordering your goods.

Surface Mail is not recommended due to the amount of time delivery takes. If you take the surface mail option we offer no gaurauntee on the goods sent. As we prefer to use Parcelforce for our deliveries. But we have decided to offer this option due to customer requests.

Delivery to Western Europe is likely to be up to two weeks, up to four weeks for Eastern Europe, and up to eight weeks for the rest of the world.

Guide to Parcelforce deliverys:

International Standard

Worldwide delivery to 240 countries and territorries. Europe from three working days and the rest of the world from five working days.

International Economy not gauraunteed no tracking service.

Worldwide delivery to 200 countries and territorries.

Euorope from ten working days and the rest of the world from twenty working days.

Delivery times are not gauraunteed and parcels may be held in some countries for collection by the recipient.

Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in <1> business day if the goods are in stock and within 3 business days if goods are out of stock, certain orders may require longer due to size or supplier restrictions. If a delay is likely you will be informed immediately by our office staff. International orders are generally received in under 5 - 8 days. As above you will be informed of any delays.

Customers in the USA we apologise for the limited service we can offer due to restrictions imposed by your government regarding bio terrorism! The packages sent by small packets and international standard parcels can not be tracked on route, so we are unable to offer tracking on this service. Parcels are sent with proof of postage but please accept that any delivery problems are sent at your risk. This allows us to keep costs at a minimum. If you wish to have your parcel insured please contact us for details when placing your order.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

We do not charge any fee for contacting our office and you will only be charged the standard charge incurred by your phone company for your call.

We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days.

Returns Policy If you wish to return your goods, no problem. You do not have to give a reason why but we would appreciate an explanation if possible. You have up to 7 working days to cancel your order, beginning on the day after the day on which you receive the goods. We aim to make your refund within 30 days of notification of cancellation.

We do request that you return the goods at your own cost. If you do not return the goods a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the cost of collecting the goods.

Your consumers statutory rights are not affected by any of the terms mentioned in these statements.
